Thanks to the use of industrial computed tomography, we at BJB have the quality, safety and reliability of materials, parts, components and tools under control even before our series production begins.
BJB's 3D measuring technology provides non-destructive analysis of our parts. A data model is generated which is then used to carry out computer-aided analyses. Up to 12 million independent measuring points are captured within a matter of seconds. The measuring data is characterised by high reproduction of detail, meaning even very small part characteristics can be measured and analysed. This guarantees the highest quality for all our products.

An Overview of 3D Measurement Technology
Using state-of-the-art industrial computed tomography and optical 3D measurement technology, we offer comprehensive capabilities for the precise analysis and measurement of components and assemblies. High-resolution CT scans provide detailed insights into the internal structure of components, while optical 3D stereo camera measurement is particularly well-suited for the precise capture of large components.
Based on the acquired CT data, we perform, among other things, volume analyses of individual parts and complete assemblies. CAI analyses enable a clear comparison of target and actual values using false-color rendering and quickly reveal geometric deviations. In addition, porosity, inclusions, and voids can be reliably examined, and errors and defects within a component can be localized and analyzed. In addition, we prepare comprehensive dimensional inspection reports and conduct detailed assembly analyses.
For clear documentation and presentation of the results, videos can be created from CT and X-ray data as well as from three-dimensional CT renderings. We also perform custom analyses using GOM Inspect Pro and VG Studio Max based on your existing CT or STL datasets.
In addition, we offer reverse engineering based on CT or camera data sets. This allows existing components to be digitally captured and used as a basis for further design, development, or optimization processes.

Rapid prototyping with plastic laser sintering.
We produce the prototypes for our product development and small production runs in our Rapid Prototyping department. Thanks to the use of plastic laser sintering systems, we literally have the products "in our own hands" as early as the development stage. Small production runs can be produced extremely economically, completely without tool costs. Flame retardant or glass fibre reinforced, these parts meet the highest technical demands.
