Top side of base plate:
The top side of the base plate is provided with an assembly coding, contact surfaces and soldering lugs for a PCB. There are also contact surfaces for a module. (See drawing for details)
The module of the sensor or communication unit is placed on the soldering lugs and soldered.
Protection class IP 66 by combination with cover.

Base plate bottom side:
On the bottom side is a bayonet for mechanical connection with receptacle, as well as push-wire contacts for electrical connection.
The base plate is inserted into the receptacle, and both mechanical and electrical connection is ensured by means of a bayonet (Twist & Lock action).
